Bulfinch Square is a community of about 30 townhouses built in the late 1980s. Located near the intersection of the George Washington Memorial Parkway and King Street, Bulfinch Square is convenient to major commuting routes and Reagan National Airport. It’s also about one mile to the Braddock Road metro station, making it a popular destination for commuters.
With a walk score of 88, Bulfinch Square is considered “very walkable.” Nearly a dozen restaurants are within a quarter mile of residents’ front doors, including local favorites La Bergerie and La Tasca. A half dozen coffee shops are also within a quarter mile for when you a little get-up-and-go. Bulfinch Square also offers all the dining, shopping, and nightlife offered in Old Town.
Currently, there are no homes actively listed for sale or under contract in Bulfinch Square, according to MRIS, our local MLS.
The neighborhood is popular, and just two homes have changed hands in the past year in Bulfinch Square. Both had three bedrooms, three full baths, and one half bath. Both were also interior units, and neither was a short sale or foreclosure. One sold for $825,000 after 63 days on the market. The other sat on the market for 259 days and sold for $850,000.
