Goldfarbs is a community of about 17 rowhouses. Some of the homes were built as early as the 1870s, and others were added to the neighborhood in 1979, and again in 2006. Located near the intersection of Duke Street and Route 1 in Old Town, Goldfarbs is convenient to the George Washington Memorial Parkway and Reagan National Airport. It’s also about one mile to the King Street metro station and the Alexandria Amtrak station.
With a walk score of 92, Goldfarbs is considered a “walker’s paradise.” It’s nestled in the heart of Old Town and offers residents all the convenience of dining, shopping, and entertainment that Old Town has to offer. More than a dozen restaurants are within a half mile of residents’ front doors, including local favorites Restaurant Eve and Southside 815. If you need a morning pick-me-up, don’t fret—a dozen coffee shops are also within a half mile of Goldfarbs, as are four grocery stores.
