KMS Townhouses is a community of about 80 townhouses (surprise!) built in 1968. Located just south of North Van Dorn Street near the intersection with Seminary Road, the neighborhood is convenient to major commuting routes, such as I-395 and the Beltway. It’s also about two-and-a-half miles from the Van Dorn metro station.
With a walk score of 38, KMSĀ Townhouses is considered “car dependent.” However, more than a dozen restaurants are within a mile of residents’ front doors, including local favorites Cafe Aurora and Shooter McGee’s. Nearly a dozen grocery stores are also within a mile of the neighborhood, as well as about a half dozen coffee shops to satisfy those morning caffeine cravings.
Currently, just one home is actively listed for sale in KMS Townhouses, according to MRIS, our local MLS. It’s an end unit with three bedrooms, two full baths, and two half baths. It’s been on the market for 18 days with an asking price of $399,900.
