1600 Prince Street is a pet-friendly condo community comprising nearly 100 units built in 1982. Located in Old Town, the community is convenient to major commuting routes, such as Duke Street and the Beltway. It’s also less than a half mile to the King Street metro station, making it a popular destination for commuters.
With a walk score of 85, 1600 Prince Street is considered “very walkable.” More than a dozen restaurants are within a quarter mile of residents’ front doors, including local favorites Joe Theismann’s Restaurant and Quattro Formaggi. Need a little “get-up-and-go” in the morning? Nearly a dozen coffee shops are within a half mile of the building. Numerous grocery stores and drug stores are also in the proximity, and nine parks are within a mile for those who want to get some fresh air. Residents of 1600 Prince Street are able to enjoy all the dining, shopping, and entertainment that Old Town has to offer.

The building is popular, and in the past year just two units have changed hands. One was a studio unit with one bath that sold for $335,000 with a seller subsidy of $6,000. It was on the market for just four days before selling. The other unit was a two-bed, two-bath unit with a sales price of $562,500. It sat on the market for only five days before selling. Neither of the homes that sold was a short sale or foreclosure.
