Varsity Park is a small enclave of less than two dozen single-family homes built from the late 1950s through the late 1960s. Located near the intersection of Seminary Road and North Jordan Street, Varsity park is convenient to major commuting routes, such as I-395. It’s also about two miles from the Van Dorn metro station.
With a walk score of 52, Varsity Park is considered “somewhat walkable.” More than a dozen restaurants are within a mile of the neighborhood, including local favorites Mango Mike’s and La Casa. For shopping enthusiasts, Landmark Mall is nearby, and for those who prefer to spend calories rather than dollars, several parks are nearby for your enjoyment.
Currently, no homes are actively listed for sale or are under contract in Varsity Park, according to MRIS, our local MLS.
Turnover is low in the community, and we have to go all the way back to 2007 for the last time a home changed hands in Varsity Park. It was a three-bedroom, three bath split level that sat on the market for 459 days (!) and sold for $572,000.
