Brigadoon is a townhouse community of 81 homes built in several phases in the 1980s. Located near Landmark Mall and Cameron Station, Brigadoon is convenient to major commuting routes, such as Duke Street, Van Dorn Street, and I-395. The community sits right on the bus line that runs along Pickett Street, and it’s also about one mile from the Van Dorn metro station, making it a popular destination for commuters.

With a walk score of 83, Brigadoon is “very walkable.” Nearly a dozen restaurants are within a half mile of residents’ front doors, including local favorites Shooter McGee’s and Duke’s Market Cafe. Is coffee your inspiration in the morning? Three coffee shops are within a half mile of Brigadoon, and if running is what gets you going in the morning, several parks are nearby to help get you moving.

The neighborhood is a popular destination, and currently no homes are actively listed for sale or are under contract in Brigadoon, according to MRIS, our local MLS.

In the past year, just two homes have changed hands in Brigadoon. Both had three bedrooms, two full baths, and two half baths. Both sold for $486,000. One sat on the market for 161 days before selling, and the other took 68 days to sell. Neither house was a short sale or foreclosure.
