Oakcrest is a community of 20 townhouses built in 1989. Floorplans range in size from 1,540 square feet to 2,607 square feet, and some of the homes come with an attached garage.
Located on Dogwood Drive in Alexandria, Oakcrest is convenient to major commuting routes, such as King St (Route 7) and I-395. It’s also about two miles from the Braddock Road metro station.
With a walk score of 54, Oakcrest is considered “somewhat walkable.” More than a dozen restaurants are within a half mile of residents’ front doors, including local favorites Ramaparts Tavern & Grill and Atlantis Pizzeria and Family Restaurant.
The neighborhood is popular, and currently there are no homes actively listed for sale or under contract in MRIS, our local MLS.
We have to go back to May 2010 to find the last time a house changed hands in Oakcrest. The house that sold was a four-bed, 3.5-bath end unit. It was listed for $589,000 and sold for $595,000 after just six days on the market.
