Carlyle Towers is an upscale condo complex. Comprised of three high-rise buildings and twelve townhomes, Carlyle Towers is located on Jamieson Avenue near Old Town and is just blocks from the King Street and Eisenhower Avenue metro stations, as well as the Amtrak station. The community offers exercise facilities, swimming pools, spas, saunas, tennis courts, a shuffleboard court, putting green, and a conference and party room.
With a walk score of 78, Carlyle Towers is a “very walkable” community. More than a dozen restaurants are within just a quarter mile of residents’ front doors, including local favorites The Carlyle Club and Jamieson Grille. Also within walking distance are the Alexandria Dog Park and The George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
Currently, nine units Carlyle Towers are actively listed for sale in MRIS, our local MLS. They range in price from $475,000 for a two-bed, two-bath unit, to $749,000 for a nearly 2,000 square foot unit with three bedrooms and three baths. One unit is under contract, and none of the units for sale or under contract are short sales or foreclosures.
In the past year, 14 units changed hands in Carlyle Towers. The average sales price was $525,450, and units sat on the market for an average of 81 days before selling. One of the units that sold was a short sale, and one was a foreclosure.
