South Kings Station is a community of about 140 townhouses built in the mid 1980s. Located just south of the intersection of Richmond Highway (Route 1) and South Kings Highway, the neighborhood is convenient to major commuting and public transportation routes. It’s also about a mile and a half from the Huntington metro station.

South Kings Station earns a walk score of 62, or “somewhat walkable.” Nearly a dozen restaurants are within a half mile of residents’ front doors, including local favorite Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que. Need a sugar fix or a quick pick-me-up? Starbucks and Krispy Kreme Donuts are also within a half mile of the neighborhood.

Currently, five homes are actively listed for sale in MRIS, our local MLS, including an offering by the Wethman Group. All of the homes listed have two bedrooms, and the average list price is $334,340. None of the homes are short sales or foreclosures.

No homes are currently under contract in South Kings Station.

The neighborhood is popular, and in the past year, just two homes changed hands in South Kings Station. One of the homes had two bedrooms and 3.5 baths and sold for $344,990 while sitting on the market for 42 days. The other was a two-bed, three-bath unit that sold for $345,000 and was on the market for 85 days before selling. Neither house was a short sale or foreclosure.
