Fords Landing is a community of over 150 townhouses built during the 1990s. Located near the waterfront and Old Town, Fords Landing is less than two miles from the Braddock Road metro station and is convenient to the Beltway.

The neighborhood has a walk score of 66, or is considered somewhat walkable. Nearly a dozen restaurants are within a mile of the neighborhood, including local favorites Union Street Public House and Fish Market. If you need a pick-me-up, eight coffee houses are within walking distance.

Currently, seven houses are listed for sale in MRIS, our local MLS. They range in price from $849,000 for a three-bedroom, two-bath house with just over 2,000 square feet, to $1,895,000 for nearly 3,200 square feet with three bedrooms, three full baths, and two half baths. Three houses in Fords Landing are currently under contract. None of the houses for sale or under contract are short sales or foreclosures.

In the past year, eight homes have sold in Fords Landing. The average sales price was $1,107,500, and the homes sat on the market for an average of 142 days before selling. The market in Fords Landing is strong, and none of the houses that sold were short sales or foreclosures.
